Director Robinson previously demonstrated how to tell a new story in an iconic and familiar format.

Robinson explained to deer. “I think there are different points where everyone is the villain and everyone is the hero of this story.”

She added. “And that’s a lot of what growing up is. I wanted to make something that paints in all the colors of adolescence.”
